Stock GAMMA has Identification UI and its GAMMA fix turned on. ROMEO turns both off, so nothing tells you who you’re looking at.
Steps
- Close the game.
- In MO2, tick these two mods. Use the search box at the bottom of the left pane to find them.
- 163- Identification UI - CrookR
- G.A.M.M.A. Crook’s Identification UI Fix
- Launch the game and look at a stalker.
- If the label still doesn’t show, press M to open Wearable Devices. Go to the HUD tab and make sure NPC Identification is turned on. This toggle only appears when an identification mod is active.
Alternative: Immersive Identification
If you’d rather scan people than have names always visible, install Immersive Identification instead of the two Crook mods. You look at a stalker and press X, and their faction and name fade in on their body. Its settings are in MCM → Immersive Identification.
Undo this tweak
- If you changed Wearable Devices → HUD → NPC Identification, restore its previous value while the identification mod is still active. The toggle disappears when the mod is disabled.
- Close the game.
- In MO2, untick 163- Identification UI - CrookR and G.A.M.M.A. Crook’s Identification UI Fix if you enabled them for this guide. If you chose Immersive Identification instead, disable that mod.
