ROMEO swaps GAMMA's free zoom for its own script and leaves the key unbound. Put GAMMA's back, or give ROMEO's a key.

Stock GAMMA uses Kute’s Free Zoom Rewrite and 178- Free Zoom - SlowVibe. ROMEO turns both off and adds Free Zoom F.O.C - CLIKRΔD, whose key is set to -1, which means unbound.

  1. Close the game.
  2. In MO2, untick xx-Free Zoom F.O.C - CLIKRΔD.
  3. Tick Kute’s Free Zoom Rewrite and 178- Free Zoom - SlowVibe.
  4. Launch the game. If zoom does nothing, check its key in MCM.

Option B: give ROMEO’s zoom a key

ROMEO’s script zooms to about 47% FOV while you hold the key.

  1. In MO2, right-click xx-Free Zoom F.O.C - CLIKRΔD and choose Open in Explorer.

  2. Open gamedata/scripts/Free_ZoomV2.script in a text editor.

  3. Change the first line from -1 to the DIK code of the key you want. For example, 47 is V:

    local zoom_keybind = 47

  4. Save, launch the game, and hold the key to zoom.

Common DIK codes: Z 44, X 45, C 46, V 47, B 48, Left Alt 56, Caps Lock 58. Pick a key that isn’t already bound.

Undo this tweak

Close the game before changing mods or scripts.

  • If you used Option A: untick Kute’s Free Zoom Rewrite and 178- Free Zoom - SlowVibe, then tick xx-Free Zoom F.O.C - CLIKRΔD again.

  • If you used Option B: open gamedata/scripts/Free_ZoomV2.script in ROMEO’s free zoom mod and restore the unbound key:

    local zoom_keybind = -1

Restore any other zoom settings you changed to the values you noted before starting.
