FDDA Redone plays an animation each time you consume something. ROMEO sets it to take your helmet off first.

Steps

  1. Press Esc and open MCM.
  2. Go to FDDA Redone.
  3. Turn off Automatically unequip helmet before consuming.

If you’d rather edit the file in the CLIKRΔD MCM Values mod:

fddar/consumables/unequip_helmet = false

Undo this tweak

In MCM → FDDA Redone, turn Automatically unequip helmet before consuming back on.

If you edited the file instead, close the game and restore:

fddar/consumables/unequip_helmet = true
